I had to go back and forth on deciding which icon to use for this post.
In the past I have gone on and on about how Green Ronin is pretty much my favorite gaming coming right at the moment. They’re smaller but because they do such fantabulous work they’re definitely starting to expand.
Well, over the past couple of days there has been some interesting Buzz regarding Mutants and Masterminds which is at the moment my choice for SuperHero RPG stuff. In fact, it is the only game I am currently playing as I use it in my
metrocityrpg game.
So the other day they announced that in September (read: After Gencon) they are going to be releasing the second edition of the game. The basic idea is that the original game was released as an experiement and now they want to polish it and make the game more professional.
Taken alone that’s all well and good. But here’s the thing. Black Library just put out a release that states they picked up a new game license.
earthkat could probably clear up some stuff about Black Library, but as far as I know they are an imprint of Games Workshiop who her husband used to work for. An imprint that worked closely with Green Ronin when they put out the recently released Warhammer 2.0 RPG.
Oh yeah, that license they picked up? The DC Universe
No official word yet.. but I’m not sure even I understand why just the potential of this makes me giddy.
