So,
Al already mention in her journal (i’m too lazy to go inserting a link to it, just check my friends) that we went out to a concert last night. Peter Murphy. I have copied his Album Cascade onto my computer so I listen to it from time to time. Of course this is his latest album tour so a good portion of the songs he did were of of “Dust”. It was still good, just that it was like listening to an album for the first time. You need to get to know it.
I’m a little ashamed to say that I was one of “those people”. I’ve been a big fan of BareNaked Ladies for a while. Since Jenn (yet another livejournal friend I’m not going to be linking too) introduced me to them back in college.. freshman year. Say 1995.. that’s 7 years. Longer than I’ve known Al. So when I go to concerts (which used to be $15 and now run for like $40) I know all of the songs.. well except for the improv ones. I roll my eyes at those newbie fans who only know the songs off the latest album. My friends who are like that, I do my best to get them to know the rest of their music as soon as possible. I’m “Old Skool”. Better than the rest of the fans. God I’m a snob.
