Maryland Renaissance Festival
This labor day weekend we’re heading out to the Maryland Renn Faire. I’ve had a long history with it ever since moving to DC back in 2000. With the exception of last year when my wife broke her leg we’ve managed to get there every year at least once, often more.

Kali for ICONS
Several years ago, I ran a Play by Email Aberrant game. It was set in a post-not-so-apocalyptic world where I mutliated New England by hitting it with a large rock from space and rebuilt it into a thriving metropolis. It (the rock) was slightly larger than Tunguska but not by much. I called the game DT Comics and the setting ‘MetroCity’. We didn’t get much past character creation (I’ve never had much luck with Play by Email games) but one of the characters that came out of it was my wife’s character ‘Kali’.
