Back in 2000 I had just moved down to DC and was living on my own in the Ft. Totten area. It wasn’t the nicest neighborhood but I still walked down to the post office in the blazing heat to pick up my brand new 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons books. I’d been playing Vampire LARP pretty much exclusively for the previous couple of years and these were a breath of fresh air.
As I got online to read more about this shiny new game I came across references to something called ‘Open Gaming’.
